Civils & Lintels has supported Mates in Mind since 2022.

As a charity focused on raising awareness of the stigma of poor mental health, especially in the construction sector, Mates in Mind has a clear synergy with the team at Civils & Lintels.

The C&L team regularly undertakes fundraising events that include everything from bake sales through to virtual climbs of Everest and, since 2022, a staggering £43,000 has been raised. At the start of 2024, refreshed signage was unveiled on its fleet of 95 LGVs that travel the length and breadth of the UK so that details of Mates in Mind’s free text helpline service are clearly displayed.

C&L’s managing director, Allan Wright also sits on the board of trustees at Mates in Mind.

As C&L continues to implement training and systems to ensure the appropriate support is provided to colleagues experiencing a difficult time, the team’s fundraising efforts will continue to raise much-needed funds.
